According to a report in the Orlando Sentinel, driverless buses will soon begin operating in Orlando.
The article quoted Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer: “We want to be one of the autonomous vehicle central points in all of the United States. Autonomous vehicles are going to prove to be safer than vehicles with drivers.”
The report indicated the buses, operated by Beep software, were unveiled in Lake Nona where service is expected to start later this year.
